M.Div

Master of Divinity (M.Div.) 

The Master of Divinity (M.Div.) is a professional ministry degree designed to prepare men and women for effective Christian service in churches and para-church organizations. Many denominations require this degree for ordination, and it also provides a strong foundation for further theological studies.

Starting this program will strengthen our institution’s mission to produce well- equipped leaders for the present and future church by Pastoral practicum and academic training. 

 Purpose of the Program

The purpose of the M.Div. program is to:

  • Provide comprehensive theological education rooted in Scripture.
  • Prepare students for pastoral ministry, leadership, and mission work.
  • Equip candidates for ordination according to denominational standards.
  • Develop Christ-like character and servant leadership.

Program Structure

  • Duration: 2-3 years (Full-time)
  • Total Credits: 90 credits
  • Courses: 30 courses

  • Systematic Theology
  • Biblical Languages
  • Pastoral Ministry
  • Preaching and Worship
  • Counseling
  • Leadership and Spiritual Formation
  • Mission and Evangelism

 Admission Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or a B.Th. (Serampore/ATA) with at least Second Class.
  • Be committed Christians with active church membership.
  • Submit recommendation letters (pastor, educational institution, church/community leader).
  • Demonstrate a clear calling to full-time Christian ministry.

FINANCIAL INFORMATION

All tuition Fees and other fees must be paid in Nepali currency. Students are required to pay tuition fees at the time of registration in each semester.

3. Accommodation & Food     60,000

FINANCIAL POLICIES:

·         Fees are taken for 12 months.

·         For Day scholars Rs. 4,000 per month (This includes the lunch)

·         ·         For a student to be eligible to appear for the final exam. S/he should be cleared of all fees of the current semester and all arrears of the preceding semester.

·         

 SCHOLARSHIP

 Deserving and needy candidates will be given full or partial scholarships. Students obtaining scholarship are required to work one hour a day.
