Bachelor of Theology (Residential)

Bachelor of Theology:

It is four years  course. The program includes both theoretical study and practical field work. 

 Admission requirements:

·         Candidates should pass +2 and pass the entrance examination set by NPTS

·         She/he should normally have been a member in good standing with local church for at least two years.

 ADMISSION PROCEDURES

Applicants for admission are required to complete and submit an application form with four pass port size photo, transcripts of previous studies, church pastor’s recommendation letter with baptismal date and activity mentioned, health certificate from government recognized medical doctor and five hundred words of personal testimony in English. A set of application forms is obtained from the registrar on payment of an application fee of Rs.500/-(no-refundable).Applications should be submitted by 30th May.

 ENTRANCE EXAMINATION

All applicants for the B.Th degree course are required to pass an entrance examination consisting of three papers. Biblical knowledge, General knowledge and English. NPTS encourages applicants from 18-30 years of age groups.

 FINANCIAL INFORMATION

All tuition Fees and other fees must be paid in Nepali currency. Students are required to pay tuition fees at the time of registration in each semester.

2. Tuition Fee   2000x12          24,000

3. Accommodation & Food     60,000

                                                  94,000


FINANCIAL POLICIES:

·         Fees are taken for 12 months.

·         For Day scholars Rs. 4,000 per month (This includes the lunch)

·         ·         For a student to be eligible to appear for the final exam. S/he should be cleared of all fees of the current semester and all arrears of the preceding semester.

·         

 SCHOLARSHIP

 Deserving and needy candidates will be given full or partial scholarships. Students obtaining scholarship are required to work one hour a day.
